Discordianism isn't exactly Anarchism, but it certainly endorses the notion. Here's what Ayn Rand had to say about Anarchism:
"Anarchism is the most irrational, anti-intellectual notion ever spun by the concrete-bound, context-dropping, whim-worshiping fringe of the collectivist movement, where it properly belongs."
[Ayn Rand, "Brief Summary," The Objectivist, September 1971].
no, i am NOT a discordian in disguise: this forum is an ignored warning to the world: some day, though it is not my wish, i will be forced to say I TOLD YOU SO!

Only thing Ayn Rand ever got right, her piece about social Anarchism. Not sure how that links to Discordianism, since Discordians exhibit "lifestyle" and individualist anarchism, which is certainly not collectivist. Assuming they subscribe to those theories at all.
DISCORDIANS AGAINST DISCORDIA
REPRESENT!
If you had children you wouldn't have such a cavalier attitude toward this sort of crap.
I am not for anarchism, I am a republican discordian. discordianism is about thinking for yourself, not creating a system where the strong can oppress the weak (moreso)
Republican Discordian. That's the richest one yet. That's like describing yourself as a an aquatic horse.
Ayn Rand started a cult called Objectivism. Google Ayn Rand and cult if you don't believe me. Objectivism is a very evil cult. I would not be quoting her if I were you. If you quote her, that makes you look like another brainwashed Objectivist cultist. And for you to dis on other cults when you are a cultist yourself seems a bit hypocritical, no?
"And for you to dis on other cults when you are a cultist yourself seems a bit hypocritical, no?"
HA HA HA HA HA
numinous ubiquity seems to have a point...your close-minded intolerance for every opinion that is not yours seems very cultic in itself...
"Republican Discordian. That's the richest one yet. That's like describing yourself as a an aquatic horse."
that's hilarious because sea horses are real animals, its also funny because discordianism ISN'T DIRECTLY TIED TO ANY POLITICAL PHILOSOPHY they just believe in a certain amount freedom, maybe like the bill of rights or something, unless you're against that too.
Kerry Thronly liked Ann Rand too. If you read that rant of his it comes up a couple of times.
